Christmas Festival in Panacea

One of the great things about being in Florida in December is that every little town has a Christmas festival and they try to stagger them so you can spend the whole month going from one small town’s festival to the other.

Being Florida snow was in short supply but they provide cool fake stuff for the kids. The tiny bits of whatever this synthetic is can even be squeaked into a temporary snowball that falls apart after a few second. As a Canadian mother my first thought was “Quick! Get winter clothes on those poor babies before we have to deal with frostbite and hypothermia” but then I remembered where I was.SAM_6811

And they had soap bubbles streaming to “Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!”

Again, forgetting where I was, I opened up to taste a snowflake. Bleh! Soap!
